You only got 4 minutes to save the world--Joy's dance recital

So Joy was enrolled in a dance class with the city of Peoria. They had a recital at Apollo High School. Be advised, this is from JUNE 6 so I'm, once again, catching up....

Here is Joy with her stage makeup.

Joy made me take a picture with her on the way home from dress rehearsal... literally in the car, on the way home. At least I was able to convince her to wait for a red light to take the picture.

Joy was a superhero, saving the world to the song "4 Minutes"

Needless to say, the kids were not amused that I kept singing "you only got 4 minutes to get in the car" "you only got 4 minutes to eat your lunch," etc.

Joy did a really good job in her recital. She thought she was going to be scared, but after it was all over she said that she didn't feel stage fright at all! We're very proud of our Joy!
