Yes, it's 2 am and I'm blogging. I just got home from fitness testing at work and my adrenaline is up a little bit because I actually RAN and there was no one behind me with a gun! My department is letting us couch potato's do fitness testing twice in the year, April to establish a baseline (and get 5 hours off), and then in October to see if we improve (and possibly get up to 20 hours off, depending on how MUCH we've improved). So let's see, some things I discovered about myself:
1)I can bench press 95 lbs. and can ALMOST get 100.
2)I can leg press 390 lbs.
3)I can run/walk a mile and a half, mostly walking but I did run too.....
4)Can't do a pushup to save my life.
5)I'm still bendy--- I can do 21 inches on the "sit and reach" test.
So anyway, considering that I assumed I would fail all of the tests miserably and wasn't even sure I would FINISH the mile and 1/2, I'm pretty proud of myself... and kind of afraid of my legs. :-) I have a lot of work to go before October, that's for sure.
Hopefully I can sleep now.
I tried to put a picture of how RED my face is right now.... it's like, RED. Seriously. The rest of the post will be red too just because that's how red my face is. I think people thought I might pass out. My face just gets really red. Especially when I exercise more in 3 hours than I have in 3 years.

Yes, but can you run and eat doughnuts at the same time?? I hear you with the push ups...except for me, I could NEVER do one pull up. I always missed the Presidential award in school because I couldn't even get one. All my strength is in my legs.
